Tim Semelroth
Tim Semelroth grew up in Hiawatha, Iowa. He was raised with four siblings by his mother, a school teacher, and his father, a factory worker. He represents injured and disabled clients rather than corporations. Tim specializes in truck accidents, wrongful deaths, car accidents, and bicycle accidents. Tim has been an attorney fighting for fairness for over 20 years. In that time he has been certified and named to many boards, lists, and associations, including The American College of Trial Lawyers (2019), the International Society of Barristers (2017), the National Board of Trial Advocacy - Civil Trial Law (2012), Truck Accident Law (2019), Great Plains Super Lawyer List (2014-Present), and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum (2005). When not working on cases, Tim has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa, he coaches middle and high school mock trial teams, plays volleyball with his friends from high school, volunteers with his son’s Cub Scout pack, and spends time with his family.
Emily Anderson
Emily Anderson grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From a young age, she showed an interest in trial advocacy, competing in middle school mock trial where Tim Semelroth was one of her coaches. She worked at RSH Legal in high school and college before completing law school at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She knew that she wanted to represent injured and disabled clients and she got the opportunity to do so at RSH Legal in 2008. Since then she has become a partner at RSH Legal in 2012, coached high school mock trial, and been named to the Iowa Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Emily specializes in car accidents, wrongful deaths, bicycle accidents, and truck accidents.
Laura Shultes
Laura Shultes grew up in north central Iowa. She enjoys fighting for individuals and making sure they know their rights. Her favorite part about being an attorney is being on a team at RSH Legal fighting towards the same goal of helping our clients. Laura went to the University of Iowa and the University of Arizona, Tucson. She is fluent in Spanish and has spent time in many different parts of the world. She enjoys spending time with her large family and traveling. Laura specializes in employment law.
Dillon Besser
Dillon Besser grew up in Topeka, Kansas. His father was a truck driver and his mother was a special education teacher. He played football at William Jewell College and then went on to law school at the University of Iowa. Dillon specializes in worker’s compensation and wrongful death cases. As an attorney he did not start off working with injured individuals but was drawn to RSH Legal because of the strong culture of helping individuals through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Dillon likes to travel, spend time with his family, and watch sports when he isn’t working as an attorney.
